Why Flame:Blue?
God is fantastic in His variety, and there is always more to know. We tend as Christians to taste the first fruits of God and proclaim our enjoyment of the entire feast. It is no longer in style to admit our sanctification is not yet complete, that we have yet to encounter true, flesh-destroying worship. This is the why behind “Flame:Blue.” Blue is not only the hottest part of the flame, but the purest. It is where I seek to burn – hot and pure – if God would be pleased to lead me there.
As I begin this new endeavor to journal my thoughts for all the world to see, I find it difficult to attempt to limit my writings to a single pattern or message. I am random at heart, and therefore my mind moves in waves. What you will see here will only be the waves that correlate to the time that I sit down to write. Each wave will be shaped and directed by the waves that came before, but at the same time be altogether unique in its movement. If you feel like swimming, I would love nothing more than to hear your thoughts.
To you I plead: do not allow yourself to become comfortable in the visions you have experienced. I do not doubt you have seen and experienced some aspect of Christ and His glory – even the ocean and forests reflect his grandeur – but do not assume you have seen enough to understand Him in all ways. Proclaim Christ and Him crucified to all you know, but only within the flavors you have tasted, and prepare to taste and burn all the more. For the journey set before us, Amen. – MB

Thank you for your metaphor concerning blue flames. I don’t blame you for wanting to be where the fire is hottest and purest.
